Amelia Ann Biller, 48, of Kingston, passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Camp Hill, PA, she was the daughter of Louise A. Johnson of Hunlock Creek, PA and William G. McElwee Jr. of Reading, PA. Amelia was a graduate of Northwest Area High School and worked as a Policy Services Associate in the Insurance Industry. Outside of work, Amelia embraced the simple joys that made life beautiful. She loved spending peaceful days at the beach, losing herself in a good book, and sharing cherished moments with her family and her beloved dog, Violet. She always had an infectious positive attitude and brought laughter and joy to everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Sara Biller of Wyoming, PA; fiance William Rhodes of Kingston, PA; siblings, Kirsten A. Bolesta of Oxford, PA, William G. McElwee III of Kingston,PA, Alexander McElwee of Reading, PA, and one niece Hannah Vickers.
Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm from the Piatt Funeral and Cremation, 6 Sunset Lake Rd. Hunlock Creek. We encourage all to wear color in honor of the light and warmth Amy shared everyday. Friends are invited to join the family in Amelia’s memory from 4 to 6 pm.
